Full Radon extraction system is a standard – Radon is a radioactive gas that is directly linked to cancer. Every home comes standard with fully complete radon extraction. This will save you thousands of dollars in radon mitigation costs.
Over engineered footings and foundation walls – The best homes all start from the best foundation. Our foundations are poured ensuring we get full strength (MPA). In addition we use a sulphate resistant and stronger concrete in the footing. This ensures that there is minimal shifting in the foundation which leads to a more stable home.
Foundation membrane – We do not take shortcuts on water proofing homes. At Millenium Plus Homes we use a specially formulated membrane that that will actually fill a crack if ever developed.
2 part super-sealing and air barrier with thermal inspection – Our high standard of practice in sealing you home ensures that your home is energy efficient, environmentally friendly and protected from hidden damages. Every single home goes through a series of vigorous tests including a thermal inspection to ensure your home is sealed to our industry leading standards.
4 Part roof construction – A roof is more than just shingles. Our roofs are designed and built with additional protective materials that protect your home from Calgarys freeze/thaw cycles, and stagnant snow.
Attic rain protection – Over the last 10 years homes have become more sealed thus creating the issue of attic rain, Our homes are formulated to combat the issue of attic rain; from cross truss ventilation to balancing airflow in your home.
Dust control and protection – during the construction process there are many stages where dust and emissions are not only a nuisance but a health risk. Our homes are run though negative air/ cleaning processes and multiple filters to clean the air avoiding trapped construction dust in the hidden places in your home.
Water testing – Every one of our homes run though a vigorous MPH water test to ensure that there are no hidden leaks in your home giving you piece of mind when you move in.
Water break protection – All Millenium Plus Homes every home comes with a standard leak protection system. Our homes will detect the smallest to the biggest leak and shut off the whole water system preventing any damages
Envelope Seal windows with Flex membrane – From flex wrap protection to enveloped sealed windows you can be rest assured that our windows are installed to avoid leaks and condensation damage. The process also ensures that your home is energy efficient saving hundreds of dollars in utility costs.
MPH Pro silent party wall – we know that you may like your neighbour but not enough to listen to them all the time. Our party walls are uniquely engineered to provide industry-leading quietness between our homes.
MPH additional inspections – As an standard a homes in inspected less than 5 times though the building process. At Millenium Plus Homes, our internal quality assurance process is to inspect our homes over 30 times! Everything form from structural, to envelope, ensuring that your home is of the highest quality.
Engineered structural inspection – At Millenium Plus every single home is inspected by an engineer to ensure your home is structurally sound and safe.
Zero deficiency policy – For over a decade, our industry leading Zero Deficiency Policy has set the bar high. We believe when you move into your home you shouldn’t have to worry about deficiencies. Delivering your home with zero deficiencies is our policy. No Exceptions!
